Due to the current concerns about Coronavirus (COVID-19) and in line with Public Health England guidance we are taking measures to protect patients and staff. We are assessing all patients before they attend the practice, please do not visit the practice unless you have been advised to do so by our team.
Did you know you no longer have to wait on the phone to get the health advice you need. Now, you can use Online Consult or Patient Access to assess your symptoms using online forms and send a message to the practice at any time, day or night. We’ll then review this so that we can advise you on the most appropriate next steps. If you cannot fill an online form in yourself our reception team will assist you.
The most appropriate next step may not be a face to face consultation. We may be able to help you using text, telephone consultation or video consultation. If the clinician feels non of these are appropriate they will arrange to see you face to face.
There are doctors appointments morning and afternoon 5 days per week. These are appointment only surgeries. You have a right to express a preference in respect of who you wish to consult with and wherever possible we will adhere to this.
If all the appointments have been booked you will be directed to the 7 day access service
Evening and Weekend appointments - 7 day service
Doctors appointments are now available at selected location in Oldham from:
- 6.30pm - 8pm Monday to Friday
- 10am - 2pm Saturday and Sunday
Anyone registered with an Oldham practice is able to choose from appointments available across the borough. This is not a walk-in service. These non-urgent and routine appointments must be booked in advance and may not be with your own doctor. Call 0161 934 2827 to book an appointment.
Children under 5 years of age
If parents or guardians of children under 5 years of age feel that their child needs to be seen urgently they will be seen on the same day or a doctor will speak to the parent/guardian to decide what the best course of action.
When booking a nurse appointment it is important to inform reception of the reason for your visit so that an appropriate length of time is allocated.
Cancellations & Arriving Late
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
If you arrive late for an appointment it may not always be possible for you to be seen an in that event an alternative appointment will be offered.
